*Yes, that is Mother Bee-Spot sporting a spectacular game day outfit featuring a fanny pack (ca. 1996) and warm up pants (ca. never ever). I was rendered speechless in the face of this, which, if you know me, is damn near impossible. Other highlights of the game included a downpour of rain, a downpour of my own sweat, trading incoherent text messages with Alex, no effing hot dogs at the concession stand after I stood in line for 20 minutes craving one covered in mustard that I would undoubtedly get all over my shirt because my boobs are ALWAYS in the way and I have had it with them, Mother Bee-Spot screaming so loudly she was receiving snarky looks and glares from our stadium neighbors, me finally bailing and making L pick me up and take me for a drink. Fun times. And now, I would like to watch Michigan trounce Oregon. Assfaces.

I dont know, your mom got a husband, a fancy watch and earring... I think the fanny pack is working for her. You should be so jealous.

Where are you that there is Lionshead?? That is all we drank at Umass, among my friends. I'm so intrigued, you can't find it here anymore!

Ma Bee-Spot looks like a fun girl. You be nice about her sartorial choices.

I can relate on the mother love for fanny packs.

incoherent texts messages! actually yes, they probably were exactly that. sometimes you think its a good idea to start pounding cocktails and shots with your boss at 830 in the morning. and sometimes life rewards you with humidity and unrelenting sunshine when its supposed to rain for longer than 10 minutes. god that was awesome. BOOMER!

I put on a rain jacket when it started raining, but then I was wetter from the sweat than I would have been without it. Then came the brutal sun and despite my snazzy hat I managed to get a wicked sunburn--on the right half of my body. Then I spent the rest of the day on the couch, watching episode after episode of Heroes.

The Mont has Lionshead, but they also kill beers, all of their 1.50 beers stop being made. First Schlitz, then Drummond Bros. and I can only assume that Lionshead is next. I hate it when cheap beers die. If they ever make PBR their cheap beer, I will cry for weeks.
