My boringness has reached an irreversible apex:

This is what I'm doing right now:

1. Watching onions brown as I make French onion soup. I actually bought a nip of Courvoisier to add to it.

2. Tab is open to Politico, waiting for the primary results.

3. Double fisting; Diet Coke and white wine (pinot grigio).

4. Listening to Fresh Air as Bart Ehrman discusses why religion is whack.

5. Wondering why my Technorati rating has gone from an all time high of 59 to 37.

6. Cursing Martha Stewart for buying the rights to Emeril's stupid fucking bullshit cooking show.

7. Thinking about how awesome Frontline could be tonight.

I don't even have kids, how have I become so utterly lame? Good lord.

Hm.. I hear this thing with Technorati happens with a bunch of folks and honestly? It's a huge reason why i'm afraid to bother with it. I *shouldn't* care about stats but when they blare at you, it's hard to ignore..

Sounds alright to me. It's Tuesday, for crying out loud.

p.s. If you add the Technorati of all three of my blogs together, I'm ahead of you now. Score!

Maybe if you stopped listening to monotone npr you would get some spice back in your life. :)

Onions browning in butter is one of my favorite smells, definitely in the top 3 if not the winner.

The next-day-onion-juice-stained-hands smell, however, is awful.

Go get yourself some kids. Then you could blog about how they're doing in rehab. People love to read about that stuff in PEOPLE magazine.

You make it difficult tomake fun of you when you do such a good job of it on your own.

I too listened to (part of) Fresh Air with that Bart Ehrman religion segment.

ooh. i want to make some french onion soup. because i too am boring and cooking is my hobby.
links to your site age their way off of technorati, so the same amount of people have to keep linking in whatever their time span of measurement is, for the number to remain the same.

colleen, you have made my day. so much in fact, that i will share my super secret french onion soup recipe with you. onions. and beef broth. with time and a bay leaf. and cognac. and butter. a sprinkling of sugar and flour. s & p. toasted, oiled bread on top with a room temp slice of gruyere before hitting the broiler. it so simple! yet so delicious. and smelly.

Technorati isn't accurate at all.

If you want to feed your web-ego do a link search in Google like this:
